We are thrilled to share the heartwarming story of a rescue named Petunia from Pinal County Animal Care and Control.
This spayed female, brown and white American Staffordshire Terrier mix, aged 2 years and 7 months, stole our hearts from the moment we laid eyes on her. Petunia ended up at the shelter as a stray on February 28, 2023, and sadly, was never claimed.
Petunia is determined to put her resilience and gentle nature front and center. She loves anyone and everyone she meets. She has gone to events with kids and absolutely loves them. She prefers male dogs as her playmate. She walks well on the leash and sits nice and pretty for tasty snacks.
She has not left the shelter's care since originally coming in, so it is unknown how she will do in a home setting.
Petunia is longing to find her forever home where she can blossom into a loving and loyal member of your family. It is truly remarkable how the love and care given to a rescue can transform their lives. Are you the one she's been waiting for?
